Tasting Notes: The wine has a deep ruby hue and shows a complex bouquet. Floral notes, rock rose and lavender, combined with pepper, clove and a touch of curry, as well as balmy cedar aromas and ripe red fruits are evident. It shows high-quality, integrated oak from its maturation period in barrels. The palate displays great structure and balanced acidity. Tannins are firm and underpin a complex range of flavours, with the presence of spices (truffle) and hints of ripe red fruits. The finish is long, intense and harmonious. - The Wine Casa Ferreirinha AAF Antónia Adelaide Ferreira Red 2008 is a complex and elegant wine of great quality, made in a limited volume in celebration of the bicentenary of Ferreirinha´s birth.
