This is a Tawny Port 100 Years of the authorship of the João Nicolau de Almeida in honour of Manoel de Oliveira, produced in the own vinery of the film maker, Quinta da Portelinha, located in Santa Marta de Penaguião. It aged in an only one barrel of 600 liters and were produced only 300 bottles, being the label of the authorship of Álvaro de Siza Vieira. This wine is so rich that in each proof is revealing in a different way. In this world of complexity, the colour is revealed by several shades, going of the topaz, yellow and golden until greenish, with a long and good aging. On the nose, the first contact is soft and tenuous, revealing fragrances of quince, tobacco, apricot, nut, caramel, aniseed and flower of orange. It is an interminable sequence of fragrances. Manoel de Oliveira was born in Porto on 12 of December of 1908, it films from the decade of 30, and is the oldest film maker in the world, that is still working.
