By the way we can say that REGUENGO DE MELGAÇO is a wine of the XXI century, of the third millennium! The first years were learning years, a period for a better understanding of the terroir and for searching the right ways to achieve the desired quality. It was also an important time for developping a deeper knowledge about Alvarinho variety. Although we keep learning, with the same curiosity and engagement that we can only put in those things that we really like, we feel that our wines already reflect some of the work done throughout these years. If you keep REGUENGO DE MELGAÇO bottles in your wine cellar, we recommend you keep them laid down, so that the cork remains humid, avoiding undesirable oxidations. If you intend to consume them in the short term this caution in unnecessary.
